SMA Miniature Coaxial Connectors:

SMA is one kind of RF Coaxial Connector that is widely applied, with small-sized thread coupling, characteristic impedance is 50 Ohm, and it’s super miniature with excellent high frequency capabilities when used for telecommunications. It is most suitable in cases where space is limited and solid reliability is required. The characteristic of connectors is in wide frequency range, excellent performance, and high reliability. The are used in connection with RF cable or micro-strip line in RF circuit of the WLAN system, controlled program, microwave equipments and the digital communication system. The frequency can be up to 18GHz by using semi-rigid or flexible cable.

There are two types of cable connectors: crimp and clamp.
