Every time I look at this set I see something new...it's that striking! The color almost defies a definition...it's a coppery, russet, sunset color that has a bit of the pearlized moonglow look but gives a hint of the clear color in lucite when the light is just right. There is even a hint of pink at times! There! Is that a enough of a description to intrigue you?
The color "lives" in lovely molded leaf shapes accented by swirls of goldtone mountings. The necklace is adjustable from 12-1/2" to 18"...the hook has a silvertone look as if it has been replaced, hard to tell. The chain links are a double design for textural interest; the design elements measure 8-1/2" across the front. The bracelet is a double dip of the leaves; it measures 7" in length and about 1" across. The clipon earrings are done in the same fashion as the bracelet. They measure 1-1/4" x 1". All in all this set is in lovely condition for its age; it's unsigned but very well designed.
I think this set would go with more things than you would think at first...it would put a spark in black, look wonderful with beige tones (think ivory or cream as well), and just might surprise you against pastels from pinks through corals. It has the possibilities of being a set you would wonder how you ever lived without it!
