A Rare and Gorgeous Antique Peridot Butterfly Festoon Necklace, Vintage Victorian Edwardian Art Nouveau c.1900. This incredible antique piece dates to the Turn of the Last Century, circa 1900, late Victorian to Edwardian - Art Nouveau Era. The centerpiece is a stylized butterfly design set with an antique cut peridot gemstone at center. The centerpiece measures about 1 inch long by about 1 1/8 inches wide. Overall the necklace measures about 17 1/4 inches long. The setting and chain are sterling silver with antique patina acquired over the years. The clasp is original and has a patent number. This piece was acquired through a wonderful estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition. These original pieces are becoming quire rare from this period, making this a wonderful find.
