This finely modeled owl with piercing eyes is likely to be one of the best you will come across. We found this feathered friend in Paris last May. We are not sure of the date, but we found him among a group of late 19th century molds in the back of a drawer. He is very detailed with clearly defined facial feathering. We hand-cast it in our studio in sterling silver then applied antiquing to bring out the shadowing around his deep-set eyes. He is suspended on a brown leather cord. Sterling silver lobster clasp and wire. Owl measures 5/8 inch. Bracelet length is 6 1/8 to 6 3/4 inches with silver extender ending in a silver pearl. Irresistible… and found only in our collection.
