Oven Proof Platter Biscayne Pattern Paden City Pottery Dated 1956

This is a gently-sloping oval platter in the ''Biscayne'' pattern by the Paden City Pottery of West Virginia. It's decorated with turquoise and tan leaves. Flowers with pink centers on a white 'sand specked' ground complete the design. Marked, ''The Paden City Pottery Co./ Made in U.S.A./ Oven Proof/ D-56''. Length: 14¼ inches (36.2 cm); width: 11½ inches (29.2 cm). In very good condition; dated 1956.
