Synopsis: Stanwell-Fletcher's journal of the three years (in two visits) that she and her husband spent studying plant and animals from their log cabin in the wilderness of northern British Columbia during the late 1930s and early 1940s. The 1946 edition published by Little, Brown won the John Burroughs Medal for nature writing.
Overall Condition: Good + It has very minimal wear to the cover and no holes or tears. The dust jacket is not included. The binding has a cracked spine at the title page but its integrity is still intact. The pages are undamaged with no creasing or tearing, no pencil underlining of text, no highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins. There are no missing pages; see images.
