3. HOW TO USE ACCEPT
If there is no other prescription of Acic cream from your doctor, the following dosage is recommended. Please follow the instructions for use as otherwise Acic cream will not work properly.
The cream should be applied in a thin layer on infected areas of the skin 5 times a day over 4 hours.
Application method
Acic herbal cream for the mouth should be applied with a cotton swab, which is covered with an amount of cream that corresponds to the size of the infected area of the skin. Care must be taken not only to apply the cream to the areas with visible herpes (bubbles, edema, redness) but also on the adjacent areas of the skin. If the cream is applied by hand, hands should be thoroughly cleaned before and after administration to avoid further infection of the affected skin area (eg by bacteria) or by spreading viruses on the uninfected mucosa and areas of the skin.
Note:
In order to achieve the best possible result of the treatment, the cream should be applied at the first symptoms of herpes infection (burning, itching, feeling of tension and redness).
The duration of treatment is determined by the treating physician. The duration of treatment for herpes simplex infections is 5 days. In some cases, treatment takes place until the bubbles form crust or disappear. However, the duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days.
If you use more Acic than you should
No over dosage after overdose with Acic cream is expected.
If you forget to use Acic
Please continue treatment as prescribed (please do not apply more or more cream).
If you stop using Acic
For successful treatment, it is important to apply Acic herbal cream to the mouth for a sufficiently long period of time.
4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
After application of Acic herbal cream to the mouth, a temporary burning or stinging sensation of the treated areas of the skin may be observed.
Rare, dry, pruritus, and skin mucosa treated with cream have rarely been observed.
In rare cases, allergic skin reactions (contact dermatitis) have been reported following the administration of Acic herbal cream for the mouth. In allergic tests, it has been found in most cases that the cause of such reactions was the excipients in the cream composition rather than the active ingredient acyclovir.
Contact dermatitis may be associated with an increase in the above mentioned adverse drug reactions and the spread of infection outside the skin areas treated with the cream. Please consult your doctor in this case.
If you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Please inform your doctor if any such reactions occur so that he can assess their severity and severity and, if necessary, take appropriate measures.
