In many of these pictures you will see a human figure-no legendary Paul Bunyan, but a simple American. He is a free man, therefore unafraid. There is a new look in his eye today, and a new feeling in his heart. He is learning to see his country as a whole, beginning to understand the size of the job ahead of him, and buckling down to it. He's got what it takes and he knows it.
We doubt if any American can contemplate the intensely moving portrait of his native land without a quickening of the pulse, without the realization that here, along with his home and family and precious freedom, is indeed something worth fighting for.
Overall Condition: Good + This Ex Library book with some markings has minimal wear to the cover and no holes or tears. The dust jacket is not included. The binding has minimal wear. The pages are undamaged with no creasing or tearing, no pencil underlining of text, no highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins. There are no missing pages; see images.
