"Lottie" - The Haunted 1920s Doll That Whispers
For sale is Lottie, a hauntingly beautiful antique doll from the late 1920s. She stands 18 inches tall with delicate hand-painted features, large glass eyes that seem to follow you across the room, and soft blonde mohair curls. She wears her original white lace dress, now yellowed with age, and black patent leather shoes.
But Lottie is far more than just a pretty vintage doll...
Her Story:
In 1928, Lottie belonged to a quiet young girl named Eleanor in rural Massachusetts. Eleanor was an only child who rarely left her family's crumbling Victorian home. The two were inseparable — until Eleanor suddenly stopped speaking after her 8th birthday. According to local legend, she would only whisper to her doll late at night.
Neighbors reported hearing two distinct voices coming from the child's bedroom window after midnight... one childlike, and one that sounded exactly like a little girl — but slower, colder, and much older.
Eleanor died of a mysterious illness in 1931. Her mother found Lottie sitting at the foot of the empty bed, facing the door, even though she had been placed facing the wall the night before.
Over the decades, Lottie passed through several owners. Strange occurrences followed her:
Clocks stopping at 3:33 a.m. whenever she was in the room
Whispered conversations heard in empty houses
The faint sound of a music box playing even when none was present
Dolls and toys in the same room being rearranged into neat circles around her
One previous owner claimed to wake up to find Lottie sitting on their chest, staring inches from their face
The last owner kept her locked in a glass cabinet for seven years after reporting that Lottie had "moved" from the living room to the hallway staircase three nights in a row.
She is now seeking a new home with someone who understands that some objects carry more than just memories.
Important Note:
This listing is for entertainment purposes only. While the story is based on the reports given to me by previous owners, Lottie is simply a beautiful, heavily patina’d antique doll. Any "activity" you experience is purely coincidental… or is it?
Perfect for collectors of haunted dolls, paranormal enthusiasts, or anyone who enjoys a good spooky story.
Serious buyers only.
Lottie does not like to be disrespected.
Would you like to take her home?
