Exploding fireworks beaded evening bag tuckable chain excellent vintage ll2779

If ever an evening bag was meant for New Year's Eve galas, this one is. It is all over beading of fine fine pearl beads and short golden bronze irridescent bugle beads. The pattern is of exploding bursts of fireworks on both front and back. The bottom is plain rows of pearl beads.

The bag is build on a metal frame that matches the color of the beads and has a kiss closure. It is lightly padded and lined in white satin. The bag has a 15 inch chain that tucks neatly inside the bag. It could easily be removed if you only want to use this as a clutch. The chain matches the color of the frame and the beads so I think this is all original.

This is a vintage bag in excellent condition. If it was ever carried, it was very carefully. The lining is spotless and the beads are intact. See photo for the one spot where I think a few beads are missing. There is a thread sticking out but it has been tied off so no further loss will occur...if there is a loss.

The bag is 5 x 9 inches and will hold more than most beaded evening bags because of the 1.5 inch gusset. The true color of the white beads is more cream, made even more so by the contrasting irridescent beads. Truly an exciting bag that will attract a lot of attention.
