Antique Coloured Engraving-Man Romancing Victorian Lady in Rose Garden

This is a beautifully illustrated c1889 full page illuminated book plate engraving from a deteriorated disbound book. In the book the engraving is what is call OIL COLORS in black, blue, and yellows. My camera is not picking up how intense of depth in coloring it is. UNFADED AND BEAUTIFUL ILLUSTRATION in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Very suitable for framing. With border measures 5-1/2 inches wide by 8-1/4 inches high.

This is my favorite print for it has so much detailing and nicely illustraed. Lovely young Victorian couple. The girl dressed in her finest blue dress is holding onto a yellow rose which no doubt her suitor must of given her. He is courting her from the other side of the wooden fence. Lots of lovely trailing roses.
