The name, Yukon Silver, conjures up a picture of a grizzled old prospector, miles from anywhere, spooning his soup from a tin bowl. He treats his utensils with great respect because he is a 3 day trek from acquiring new ones.
Enough from my imagination. I can find nothing about Yukon Silver or S. Hibbert & Son. I suspect these are coin or nickle silver but can't be sure. I am not a silver collector. Age wise I would assume these are from the early part of the 19th century, i.e. about 1840 or earlier. All three pieces measure 7 inches long and are in excellent condition considering they are probably way over a hundred years old. They aren't even badly tarnished. They need a polish to brighten them but are not showing any silver wear.
