Synopsis: Originally published in 1947 under the title "Conclusive Evidence," this is the First Revised Edition, containing additional material. This is one of the BMOCs that are also firsts. Endpapers are illustrated with maps of the Nabokov lands near St. Petersburg.
His original autobiography, by this same title, was written in the United States during the Second World War without benefit of family papers. After the war, in Switzerland, he was able to find archives and track down family photos etc. to make corrections and add detail to this fascinating account of his family background in pre-communist Russia.

Overall Condition: A very good copy with clean boards showing very little wear and a tight binding. The text is clean and the pages have a mellow tone. DJ shows some tanning with a small sticker removal scar and some minor chips and rubs. = see picture; more images upon request.
