Buffalo Hunt On Western Plains 1966 Large Vintage Lithograph Print Artist Joe H Williams. On another large print series of this artist, with his signature it indicates FT. WORTH, TX.

Beautiful, Very LARGE vintage lithograph print in a western Native American Indians theme. Portraits a herd of large buffalo stampeding away from the group of Indians trying to spear them for food. Spears and bow and arrow in hand.

A nice quality print. Was produced on thicker linen woven paper. Overall with wide white border it measures just shy of 24 inches wide by 18 inches high. Just the actual print image measures 18 inches wide by 14 inches high.

Lithograph was stored away from any light. Is very VIBRANT and VIVID. EXCELLENT CONDITION of this print. (Just on the very edge on white border shows some slight soiling on the bottom right edge and a couple dots at the top right edge). Would be covered under a frame.

This illustration is SIGNED in the lower left hand area by the artist: JOE H. WILLAMS '63 (then his symbol signature). Then at bottom of print: PRINTED IN U.S.A. 1966 BY JOE H. WILLIAMS.

I cannot find any information to share with you on this particular artist, but it appears that this lithograph was reproduced possibly from a painting or a chalk or watercolor painting.
