1.25g Sample of Purple Violet Matte Pigment Powder for DIY Soap & Cosmetic Making
This Matte Purple pigment is a 1.25 gram sample. May or may not be enough for your formulation but can work well in small or tester batches; and depending what you are trying to color; it can work! It is non-bleeding and doesn't migrate and can be used in MP and CP, also HP. It's approved for eye and lip products which makes it a lot of fun.
I like to use this color in my lavender soaps to give it a deeper color, especially down the middle when I'm layering. You have to be careful with the oils in the soap because the color can morph if not formulated correctly and or depending on the oils used. Works excellent in clear bases and in white bases; gives you that opaque, lilac or light purple.
I started making my own lip balms, shampoos, conditioners, and then soaps at the end of 2012 all the way into 2013 & current so I'm pretty knowledgeable. I have gained a supply of pigments from all of my experimenting if you would like to try them out before you dive in full force as making your own items can be addicting! I have lots of fun with my personal soap and shampoo making and even have a few copycats out now! Amazingly enough, there's room for all of us as we should all try to be unique as possible when it comes to perfecting our own crafts.
Please ask me any and all questions pertaining to this listing or colorants and I will be happy to assist you. I am always happy to chat with you!
