Ralph Sallon Caricature Drawing Print Viscount Kilmuir Lord High Chancellor
Welcome! Presenting a vintage print on paper titled beneath the image "No. 3 The Right Hon. Viscount Kilmuir The Lord High Chancellor 1954-1962 Drawn by Sallon" and signed in the plate on the lower left corner below the image "Sallon". The print is taken from the original caricature drawing by artist and caricaturist Ralph Sallon. The image itself measures 15 inches long and 11 inches wide and is framed under glass in a narrow brown wood frame measuring 19 inches long by 15 inches wide. There is an old label on the back from the WW Gallery in Hillside, New Jersey, the numbers #2521 3 of 3 and 533-130, and picture wire for hanging.
PLEASE NOTE: This print has not been unframed, so I am unable to verify the condition of the paper under the frame and backing. The visible image is in good to very good condition. There is a faint line of dried moisture staining across the top of the margin, as shown in the photos. The narrow wooden frame has dings and wear to the finish. Overall good intact condition. There is some glare and reflection from the glass in some of the photos.
